Cup of Chisme: Xia Wardy is excited to finally restock her sold-out coffee blend. Now, the southeast San Diego mom and entrepreneur behind Xia’s Astrology Roast can keep grinding.
This talented coffee creator has a new brew in her Cup of Chisme series. Named after the Vietnamese word for gossip, Xia wanted to explore the layers and flavors of her culture. The cup features hints of coconut milk, condensed milk and nuts palette.
Xia’s business isn’t just about caffeination – there’s a community element to it as well. She donates part of her revenue to local organizations supporting math and science education for girls.
In fact, Xia is committed to encouraging more girls to pursue careers in male-dominated fields. She even collaborated with the Made in America Project to create a special blend named the “Girl Math Edition.”
Despite challenges in the coffee industry, Xia is determined to keep her business thriving. She has plans to expand her product line and reach more customers in the coming months.
