According to the Atlanta Police Department, two suspects were arrested for allegedly ramming a security gate and stealing items from mailboxes in southwest Atlanta. The incident took place at Beecher Hills Elementary School on Cascade Road.
Police responded to a call reporting suspicious activity at the school. When they arrived, they found a damaged security gate and two suspects attempting to flee the scene in a vehicle. The suspects were apprehended and found in possession of stolen items taken from the school’s mailboxes.
The suspects have been charged with theft and criminal damage to property. Police are investigating whether the suspects are connected to other similar crimes in the area.
