The Seattle Fire Department recently made history by welcoming its first father-daughter duo to the team. Lieutenant Richard Shen and his daughter, Olivia Shen, are both proud members of the department.
Lieutenant Shen has been with the Seattle Fire Department for over 25 years and has worked his way up the ranks to become a respected leader within the department. His daughter, Olivia, recently followed in his footsteps and joined the department as a firefighter.
The Shen family is proud to be serving their community together and breaking barriers as the first father-daughter duo in the department’s history. Both Richard and Olivia are dedicated to their work and committed to keeping the residents of Seattle safe.
