Boston police are currently on the lookout for a suspect involved in the theft of youth sports jerseys. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 pm on Monday when the suspect entered a sports store on Washington Street and stole several jerseys belonging to a local youth sports team.
Surveillance footage from the store captured the suspect taking the jerseys and leaving the store without paying for them. The stolen jerseys are estimated to be worth several hundred dollars.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who is described as a male in his mid-30s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a gray t-shirt, and blue jeans.
Anyone with information about the theft or the suspect’s whereabouts is urged to contact Boston police immediately. The stolen jerseys are of great sentimental value to the youth sports team, and they are hoping for a swift resolution to this unfortunate incident.
