The Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) is preparing for its Spring Street Smart campaign and will focus on targeted enforcement. The campaign aims to educate and remind residents about pedestrian and traffic safety.

The ACPD has partnered with the Arlington County Department of Environmental Services and other local organizations to promote safe practices for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. Through targeted enforcement efforts, officers will be focusing on areas with high rates of crashes involving pedestrians and cyclists.

The Spring Street Smart campaign will also include the distribution of educational materials and outreach events to raise awareness about the importance of following traffic laws and being mindful of others on the road. Police officers will be increasing their presence in certain areas to enforce traffic laws and promote safer behaviors.
