PORTLAND, Oregon — Portland’s beloved ice cream maker, Salt & Straw, is expanding to the East Coast with two new locations in New York City.

Salt & Straw announced the new locations in New York on Monday, with a tentative opening date set for this summer. The two new locations will be in the SoHo and Upper West Side neighborhoods.

This expansion marks Salt & Straw’s first venture outside of the West Coast, where they currently have locations in California, Oregon, and Washington.
